Overture

From the delightful first notes of the Overture, we fall under the irresistible Wonderland spell. Inspired by the anticipatory thrill of musical theatre overtures, the dreamy soundscape elevates us gently up and out of the ordinary world, into a realm that is soft and fanciful as clouds. Pianos, synths and whistles sparkle in the distance, drawing us towards the technicolour playground that lies ahead. The overture is a magical 1:11 long, and towards the end, Jack’s vocoder-voice welcome is an evocative charm from his childhood memories.
