Sketches from Wonderland
Before the beats, the strings, the choirs and the colour —
there was just me and the piano.
That’s how every song on Wonderland began.
Just two hands on the keys. A feeling in my chest. A thought I needed to follow.
Sketches from Wonderland is a return to that beginning.
Sixteen stripped-back piano versions of the songs from my debut album — recorded live, in a single take, one Sunday evening.
No plans. No edits. No production.
Just melody, memory, and the music that came through my fingers.
These are not demos or leftovers.
They’re quiet echoes. Tender reflections. Pencil drawings instead of paintings.
The original Wonderland was cinematic and dramatic — full of layered vocals, lush production, vivid emotional highs and lows.
This is its shadow and its stillness. Not a sequel, but a companion.
